The Board of Directors of BHS Industries Berhad ("Company") wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek its shareholders' approval for authority to purchase its own shares at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened on a date to be announced.

A Circular to Shareholders which sets out the details of the above proposal will be despatched to shareholders in due course.
